Talk about a story of true inspiration! Clay Walking Eagle and Tim Warner, both of Carlsbad, CA are gearing up to paddleboard nearly 500 miles from the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco to the San Diego-Coronado Bridge. Their efforts are to raise awareness for the Charity: Water, a global nonprofit that raises money to install wells in underdeveloped parts of the world.
Both, Walking Eagle and Warner, are active adventurers who have spent years on the water as avid surfers and kayakers. What you’ll be surprised to learn is that they have only spent about four months paddle boarding, and are about to take on this incredible challenge during the time of year when the ocean is the least predictable as far as the size of the waves, direction of the wind, and shark activity!
They anticipate the entire journey will take about a month to complete by paddling at least 20 miles a day and camping along the coast. With the help of sponsors and friends, they have all the equipment they’ll need from tents to boards. Along with their supporters, you’ll also notice an additional 10 man camera crew tagging along on their quest.

The goal is to have a documentary at the end of the expedition that will hopefully continue to inspire people to give and get more clean water to those who need it. The $5000 will be used to build a well that will service up to 100 people. If they can raise $10,000, that would be enough to build a larger, long-lasting well. Every bit helps, so if you want to donate CLICK HERE.
At the moment, due to a family emergency involving the Warner’s three-month old, Kirra (we wish her the speediest recovery), they will be setting out on the expedition sometime in late June/July. So, keep an eye out for new developments at their site www.bridgetobridgefilm.com.
