Sedona – Multigenerational Hiking

We recently went on a 7.5 mile family hike in beautiful Oak Creek Canyon in Sedona.  The hike only took us about 4 hours, lunch included!

Oak Creek Canyon Hike

Granddad (my husband John) carried Ryan (Grandson) most of the way.  Dad did the last mile or so. We even forded some mild streams.

Ryan “hiked” the whole way in his Deuter Kid Comfort II carrier. We saw 3 other babies in similar carriers!

A suggestion when you get your own Deuter Kid Comfort II carrier: Be sure to get the cover/top, it is extra – to keep sun off AND branches away from the kids’ head – as first time baby hikers tend to forget about the branches!
