I’ve had the opportunity to visit Vermont on more than one occasion and have stayed at the beautiful Ranney-Crawford B&B in Putney, Vermont and by the Three Stallion Inn, Randolph, Vermont

Ranney-Crawford B&B offers elegant accommodations with private bath, air conditioning and bright, airy bedrooms, you get a three course gourmet breakfast. Conveniently located close to hiking, cross-country skiing and local trails it is a wonderful setting for a Vermont getaway. It also caters to bikers witth well paved country roads and dirt roads the possibilities are endless. They even have route/cue sheets for download on their website.
Although the snow hasn’t started falling yet, I did happen to see a cross country skier practicing on the rural roads on training skis with rollers !

The Three Stallion Inn has seven guestrooms, all with newly renovated private baths with Carrera marble countertops and heated floors. Guest rooms have phones, free wireless high speed internet access. The Morgan House has an additional seven rooms with wireless internet access as well.
