Anywhere you look in Colorado is a feast for the eye. Amid our mountainous landscape this time of year is a colorful palette of orange, green, red, gold and white.
White? Yes, white!
Setting out for a fall hike? Make sure you are dressed and prepared for a change in the weather. Be prepared for sun or snow. High altitude hikers in Colorado got a taste of early snow this past weekend. Lower temperatures mixed with moisture presented the white stuff throughout the mountains of Colorado.
Some skiers just couldn’t wait to put in those first tracks.
It could very well get warmer as you move throughout the day. Outer layers that can easily be peeled off and carried can help you adjust as your body temperature rises. Same goes for putting those layers back on when you stop for a break or if the temperature suddenly drops. Just another reason to love this altitude; Fall in the Rockies always includes a dash of winter.

THX that’s a great ansewr!
