I shot this last week from our home in Ridgway, Colorado. What a magnificent site this hot air balloon was to see against the already gorgeous scenery. And then to our surprise, it actually landed in our driveway! We are guessing it’s from the San Juan Balloon company, since they do the tours in the area.

I can imagine how wonderful the skies will look for the upcoming Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It starts on October 1 and runs through the 9th. This marks Balloon Fiesta’s 40th year!
